Country Oaks Youth Ministry focuses on youth activities that will help youth strengthen their relationships with Jesus Christ and one another. The leadership team of the Youth Ministry seek to accomplish this through a variety of Christ-Centered activities.

Sunday Morning Bible Study > Teens gather every Sunday morning, from 11:00 am until noon, for a time of discipleship. This Bible study allow teens to "get real" in their faith & grow in their walk with Christ plus deepen friendships with their peers.

Wednesday Nights > Senior High Youth (9th - 12th grades) & Junior High Youth (7th & 8th grades) meet together on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the church. This is the perfect time to "connect" with fellow teens & and to get to know God in a more personal way & to learn more about the Bible . A typical evening includes great games, snacks, devotion & lots of fun!

Youth Choir/Drama/Interp > During the school year, our Youth Choir/Drama/Interp are scheduled to meet late Sunday afternoons and evenings at the church. This ministry provides a great opportunity for teens to express themselves with awesome music, drama & variation of pantomime, hand motions and some sign language. For additional information call the Church Office (916-685-4019) or contact our Youth Pastor or Minister of Music.

National Youth Conference > Each year our teens are encouraged to attend the National Youth Conference. This conference provides the opportunity for spiritual growth, fellowship with other believers & a renewed spirit.

COBC Youth Ministry attend the TSUNAMI Conference each year with approximate 5,000 other students and leaders in December. This conference delivers life changing experiences with some exciting speakers, intense worship times, & down-to-earth hot topic sermons that will challenge attendees to rise up to the next level in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Teen Camps & Missions > Each summer the teens & their leaders go to a summer camp & on a missions trip. Both of these experiences are great opportunities for students to strengthen spiritual lives, to provide team building, to reach non-Christians, to advance mission awareness & to magnify God.

Monthly Fellowships > Each month our Youth Council plans fun fellowship outings like bowling, laser tag, skating, amusement park trips, cave tours, backpacking & more. All youth are encouraged to attend & bring friends to these fun events. These events provide a great opportunity to get to know other teens.
