Country Oaks provides three (3) Sunday morning service options to accommodate different schedules and musical tastes. Come join us to make some new friends and, who knows, maybe renew some old friendships too. As of June 3, 2007 the Sunday morning Worship/Bible Study schedule has changed.

~ Our first Sunday service, a TRADITIONAL WORSHIP service meeting at 8:15am, features more traditional hymns and songs. This service lets out in about an hour to allow attenders to go to a small group Sunday morning Bible Study at 9:30 after the church service.

~ Country Oaks "middle" service, a CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP service meeting at 9:30am, features more modern worship songs and choruses including some music from current Christian artists. This worship experience finishes in about one hour and fifteen minutes to allow attenders to also attend a small group Sunday morning Bible Study groups before and after the "middle" service.

~ Our final Sunday morning service, a BLENDED WORSHIP service meeting at 11:00am, features a blend or combination of traditional hymns and contemporary music styles.

In addition to heartfelt worship, Pastor Steve faithfully seeks to share a message that will meet the needs attenders.

8:15am - 9:15am > Schedule changed on June 3, 2007
With today's fast changing world, this 8:15 Sunday morning service seeks to meet the needs of the traditional worshipper by featuring the more traditional or classic church hymns & songs of old. While we believe there is nothing Scripturally wrong with using drums or the newer songs & choruses within the worship experience, as a general rule they are not utilized in this service.
9:30am - 10:45am > Schedule changed on June 3, 2007

Many people, young & old alike, enjoy hearing & singing the newer songs. The 9:30am Sunday Worship features more contemporary or modern worship, praise songs & choruses including some music from current Christian Artists. In addition to a Worship Team leading the worship, worshippers can expect to hear drums, keyboards, guitars & rhythm instruments.
11:00am - 12:00pm > No change to schedule
For those who enjoy the old hymns of faith & the newer contemporary worship songs & choruses, the 11:00am Sunday Worship seeks to feature both styles of worship, a melding of both if you will. 

Please choose the service that best meets your musical tastes & schedule. We hope you will come & worship with us!

  • A supervised Nursery is provided for the children of those attending 9:30 am & 11:00 am Worship Services & Bible studies.
  • Bible Study classes are available for All ages at 9:30am & 11:00am.
  • Children's Church meets at 11:00 am.

Prayer
  Prayer Ministry & Meeting

Country Oaks Baptist Church believes in praying and in the power of prayer. We believe that we are to pray always. "Pray constantly." 1 Thess. 5:17 We also believe that prayer is effective. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The intense prayer of the righteous is very powerful."  James 5:16.

Because of these beliefs in prayer we have a prayer chain and a weekly evening prayer meeting.

Bible Study
  Bible Study Groups

Country Oaks Baptist Church offers Bible Studies for all ages.

Beside Sunday mornings, age appropriate Bible Study classes are available for all ages: Tuesday evenings, from September through May, AWANA Bible Club for children; Junior and Senior High teens meet on Wednesday Bible Study; Wednesday Mid-Week Bible Study taught by Pastor Steve Belden; weekly Bible Studies for women; and there are a number of weekly and bi-weekly Home Bible Study Groups from which to choose.
