Commander of the Country Oaks Baptist Church’s
AWANA program is Katie Pierce. Katie is also
the Pre-School Coordinator .
Stephanie
Ernster-Vallejo is the Interim Children’s Coordinator
. Children who come to Country Oaks on Sunday
mornings have the opportunity grow spiritually in our
9:30 Sunday School classes, and in our
11:00 Children’s Church
program.

Sunday
School
Pre-School
Our
Pre School Department is going strong. We have wonderful
God loving Teachers and classrooms full of sweet, energetic
and amazing kids. Each Sunday the children learn about God
and how to love Him more. Children hear Bible stories, sing
songs, do lessons, enjoy crafts and have tons of fun. We
have church wide activities through out the year that allow
the children celebrate our great Lord. We would love to
have you visit us. If you have any questions please contact

| Children's Summer Ministry |

Vacation Bible School |
| Vacation
Bible School takes place in the summer sometime
in the month of July. Activities & Bible Studies take
place each night for ages 3 through 6th grade. In addition,
each night the children participated in Bible stories, games,
music, crafts, refreshments & prizes. The week is topped
off on Friday night with a family night & musical, &
refreshments.
Children
and their parents do
not
need
to be members or attendees of Country Oaks in order to come.

AWANA heading toward summer! |
AWANA Clubs,
for children ages 3 years through the 8th grade,
has begun the winter/spring session for 2007.
AWANA meets most Tuesdays from 6:15-8:00 pm
with some holiday breaks & special activity breaks.
Staffing this wonderful ministry is
always a challenge. We make it a high priority to have some
wonderful leaders, teachers & helpers. This year is
no exception.

Country Oaks Children's
Choirs meets most Sunday afternoons (4:00-5:00pm)
from winter through spring each year. The directors &
workers work hard to plan a fun, musically educationally,
& spiritually significant sessions.
We have some of
the finest choir directors around. The preschool choir called
God's Lambs, 4 yrs. old through kindergarten,
is led by Chris Corrales . The 1st-3rd grade choir,
named the Music Makers, is directed by
Julie & Dave Powell. Finally, the 4th-6th grade
choir, which we call the SonShine Singers,
is led Bob & Sherri Eitel.

Sunday School Promotion |
Our annual children's & teen's Sunday
School Promotion Day takes place each year during
the month of September. For continuity sake, until Promotion
Day arrives, parents are encouraged to continue
to take their children to the same class they will attended
for the new school year. |

we wish to provide a safe and secure enviroment for children,
we fingerprint and take information for background checks
on each of our Children's Ministry workers and volunteers.
